This past Saturday, Missouri Jobs with Justice and Missouri Health Care for All co-sponsored an Public Meeting Town Hall on Medicaid expansion in Festus, MO. A panel of speakers spoke on the need for Medicaid expansion. Over 50 people came out to the event. The panel spoke about how Medicaid expansion would benefit the state, and many spoke on how Medicaid expansion would benefit Jefferson County specifically. Over 10,000 Jefferson County residents fall into the Medicaid Gap, and 500 of them are veterans.
