Fighting for health care as a human right has been a core value of Missouri Jobs with Justice since our founding 25 years ago. One of my first health care actions was a honk & wave rally to pass the ACA back in 2009. It was clear to me fifteen years ago that Missourians were ready for health care for all – and it’s clear that they still are.
Thanks to supporters like you, we have achieved incredible milestones such as passing the Affordable Care Act, stopping dangerous cuts to care in the Missouri legislature, and expanding Medicaid at the ballot box. We’ve been fighting for health care for all for a long time.

Today, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Missouri Health Care for All as a dedicated project of Missouri Jobs with Justice. This exciting new chapter will enable us to strengthen our commitment to ensuring that every Missourian has access to the health care they need.

We are proud to share stories like that of Sara Mari, who turned to Missouri Jobs with Justice when Blue Cross Blue Shield stuck her with a $13,000 bill. Sara & her family were in collections because BCBS refused to pay for her newborn son’s care. Our community came together to support her and demand BCBS pay up – and we won.
“Missouri Jobs with Justice came together to support my family. I felt completely supported knowing someone could help me fight back against this gigantic corporation. It’s been a huge relief to have this $13,000 bill reversed, but the whole experience has opened my eyes. It’s a real testament to how many people are being exploited by health care corporations and made to feel like they’re alone.”

Certain politicians and greedy corporations want to divide us and blame us for our hard times – all while they rake in record profits. We know that the power of the people is greater than the people in power. Together we can rewrite the rules and build a health care system that puts people over profit, provides the full-range of health care services, and respects our right to make health care decisions for ourselves and our families.
This work takes all of us. Will you join me as a Health Justice Champion and fight for health care for all? It is up to us to demand a health care system that works for all of us.
