300,000 Signatures for Early Voting Turned Into MO Secretary of State

Yesterday, Missouri Jobs with Justice and our partners turned in 300,000 signatures for the Early Voting ballot initiative to the Secretary of State in Jefferson City. This November, Missourians will vote to implement an Early Voting program for future state and federal elections. Early Voting will expand the access and time to the fundamental right to vote for working Missourians. Missouri will join 35 others states who already have some form of Early Voting, allowing voting on more than just one day.

We couldn’t have collected 300,000 signatures without our many hardworking volunteers and member organizations who collected signatures all over the state – at meetings, in congregations, at events. Thanks to all of you who petitioned with us through the long cold winter to help us expand democracy for working Missourians. Missouri is ready for Early Voting!
